I am incredulous and cannot find enough words to express my sincerest praise to our Almighty God for everything He has done and is still doing. I has been over ’30’ years now since this noble intitution was established. Indeed the great Lord has shown Himself approved.
Challenges are meant to be overcome and you only fail when you give up. The only permanent thing in life is ‘Change’. The journey has not been easy but victory has been ours. Nothing good comes on a silver platter. God has been our director and we could not have acheived anything without him. This great institution was stemmed from what was a hobby. Caring for children while their parents went to work was the basic idea I had in mind. I decided to do this so that I can be at home when my own children returned from school. I started with ‘6’ children who can now be found in reputable schools around the country and the world as a whole.The word ‘DIVINE’ , which means , ‘WITHOUT BLEMISH’, was the name given by The Holy Spirit after fervent prayers. The journey of a creche then begun. DIVINE DAY CARE, the original name was metamorphosed into DIVINE EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER and then finally into DIVINE MONTESSORI SCHOOL
Our History…
Established in 1995, Divine Montessori School began as a modest vision with a profound purpose: to create a nurturing environment where every child could grow, learn, and thrive. Over the years, it has blossomed into a beacon of excellence in early childhood education, guided by the core principles of the Montessori philosophy. In 2000, the Kindergarten and primary sections were started. Due to lack of infrastructure, it was begun at a new site.
We currently have classes running from K.G. 1 to J.H.S 3, conducive classrooms, a well equipped e-learning centre, a library among others have been provided to ensure that the children are comfortable enough to give out their best. Our first batch sat for the B.E.C.E and graduated in 2012. It is our passsionate prayer that we will be able to impart knowledge about life in ways known only to our creator.
The journey from humble beginnings to a well-established institution has been marked by vision, perseverance, and optimism. The school has continuously evolved, with improved infrastructure and modern facilities that support both academic and personal development.
Today, Divine Montessori stands not just as a school, but as a vibrant community—a place where children are not only educated, but inspired to grow into their best selves.
